RCS-1 is base on wireless ad hoc multi-hop network. Each mobile base station works as a router to forward data packets to each other. The whole system doesnt rely on any fixed infrastructure, such as cellular coverage, fiber cable, IP connectivity, power cable,etc. It is non-routing (where no IP addressing or gateways are needed) for building a self-forming and self-healing voice communication networks.
● Strong Resistance to Destruction
Wireless manet radio base stations can be powered by solar energy and built-in batteries. They do not require fiber optics, wired links, or computer rooms. They can withstand major natural disasters, including major earthquakes, floods, wind disasters, etc. At the same time, daily maintenance costs are also greatly reduced.
●Self-Forming / Self-Healings Ad-Hoc Networking
MANET functionality over narrowband VHF, UHF radio networks. Each node transmits, receives, and relays information simultaneously.

Any manet radio base station in RCS-1 can join in or leave the network any time. If longer communication distance is required, just turn multiple units the portable base station and they will be immediately join in the network to extend the communication range as demand.
