Background
In order to test the coverage distance of the individual handheld terminal in actual use, we conducted a distance test in a certain area of Hubei Province to verify the transmission distance and actual test performance of the system.
Test Main Purposes
This test mainly has the following main purposes:
a) In practical application, testing the available video transmission distance of the single-soldier handheld terminal;
b) The difference between the long glue stick antenna and the short glue stick antenna at the same height is compared.
c) The handheld terminal is tested for transmission bandwidth and wireless performance at a certain coverage distance.

Test ends environment setup
Select the appropriate area, unfold the device, raise the tripod, deploy the test notebook, and set up the remote return point environment. The height of the return point tripod is about 3m. Power on the device and wait to start testing.

Mobile End environment setup
This test simulates an actual land usage scenario, and the handheld terminal device used on the mobile end(car) is extended out of the window at a height of about 1.5m. The audio and video acquisition terminal are used to collect the video picture and transmit it back to the test notebook through the handheld terminal. The test video and the lag position distance are recorded.

Test Results Recording
In the test process, the check picture is clear and smooth, the transmission process is stable, and the end position is recorded by stopping after jamming.
The following are the test results of using three antenna length configurations scenarios.
Scenario 1---Long Antenna Remote Recording
Both ends use long antennas, the video is stuck to 2.8 km, and the final position is recorded.

Scenario 2---Fixed use long antenna (Backhaul End) and Remote use short antenna (Mobile end) remote recording
One end uses long antennas and the other end use short antennas, the video is stuck to 2.1 km, and the final position is recorded.

Scenario 3---Remote recording at both ends using short antennas.
Both ends use short antennas, the video is stuck to 1.9 km, and the final position is recorded.

2km Bagging Test Recording
The maximum bandwidth of UDP and TCP was 11.6Mbps at 2km.

2.7km Bagging Test Recording
At 2.7km, the wireless transmission bandwidth and effect are tested when the signal is poor. The test result was 1.7Mbps.

Summary
The current test is completed, and the actual video transmission distance, the difference between long and short antennas and the long-distance wireless performance and transmission capability of the wireless transmission terminal in the 3m rack height (mobile terminal 1.5m) environment are verified. In the actual remote test, the 2KM index required by the outline is exceeded. In some complex areas or poor radio conditions and high transmission requirements, a higher gain antenna should be used.
