In some specific environments, the distance that unmanned vehicles can reach is limited, and there is generally a lack of public networks in the responsible environment, so how to increase the transmission distance of unmanned vehicles is very important and difficult. The UAV relay solution designed by our company can solve this problem.

 

Solution Design

In mountainous areas with poor communication environment, drones and unmanned vehicles are equipped with cameras and IWAVE MESH ad hoc network equipment are fixed in drones and unmanned vehicles, so that it forms a complete wireless video image transmission system for drones and unmanned vehicles.

 

 

When the unmanned vehicle enters a farther place, due to the obstruction of obstacles such as mountains, it is difficult to continue to transmit the control signal. so, the unmanned vehicle, and the ground command vehicle to establish a communication connection through the wireless MESH video transmitter.

 

The videos from the UVG can be transmitted to the receiver on the farther command center through the ground command vehicle, the videos received by the unmanned vehicle can be displayed on the screen real-time in the command center.

 

This solution allows unmanned vehicles to use drones and ground vehicles as relays to reach longer distances, even more than 50km, even in complex environments.
